Who can attend Night to Shine?

Answer

Night to Shine is open to all people with special needs, ages 14 and older. You do not need to be a member of Goodwill Church to attend. To provide a safe space for our honored guests, we can only accommodate 110 people each year. Once registration is full, we will open a waitlist.

Who can serve at Night to Shine?

Answer

We are so thankful for your willingness to serve! One of our favorite parts of Night to Shine is seeing the community come together to support this great evening! Volunteers 18+ years of age will be required to have a completed background check to serve during Night to Shine. For all volunteers ages 16-17 you can serve on the night of Night to Shine, but you must be accompanied by a volunteering parent. If you are 15 years old or younger, please note that you can only volunteer for Prom Shop weekend with parental supervision. All volunteers must attend a mandatory training on January 11th and must be comfortable with the possibility of appearing in photo and video promotional materials in the future.

I unfortunately can't serve with you. How else can I support Night to Shine?

Leading up to the big night, we'll host a variety of fundraisers you can attend to help financially support Night to Shine. We will also be sharing an Amazon Wishlist in the future, where you can purchase needed items that will be sent directly to Goodwill Church.

And, don't forget, prayer is powerful! Will you join us in praying over this special night? Pray that our honored guests would leave this night feeling incredibly loved by our church and the community. Pray that it would be a night of fun for our guests and a time of respite for their families and caregivers. And, most importantly, pray that every person there would know God's perfect love for them!
