Pastor's Corner - 3/11

Many of you have asked about my eyesight and have been faithfully praying. Thank you. Your prayers mean a great deal to me.

At this point, the doctors still do not know what is causing the issue or how best to treat the symptoms. More tests are coming in the weeks ahead as we continue searching for answers. Naturally, we pray and hope for quick healing. We know the Lord is able.

While my eyesight has not yet improved, something else has been happening. My soul is full.

Your prayers have reminded me that prayer is never wasted. God hears every word. Sometimes, he answers by changing our circumstances. Other times, he strengthens us within them.

The apostle Paul once asked the Lord to remove his suffering, but God replied, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

I still believe the Lord can restore my sight, so please keep praying. Even now, he is answering by filling my heart with peace, gratitude, and joy. Physical healing may come in his timing, but the soul is already being healed. Thank you for walking with me in prayer.
