Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. — Galatians 6:2

Last night, fifteen of us gathered for our monthly prayer and communion service. It was a powerful time, filled with worship, tears, and heartfelt intercession. We prayed for each of you, asking God’s grace to rest upon your homes, your families, and your walk with Christ. Even if you couldn’t be there, know that you were covered in prayer.

The apostle Paul wrote, “We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you” (Colossians 1:3). Prayer isn’t just something we do when life gets hard, but an expression of love and faith. When we pray for one another, we’re joining in the work of the Holy Spirit, bearing one another’s burdens as Paul exhorted in Galatians 6:2. And as James reminds us, “The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working." (James 5:16).

Dear Church, whether we’re gathered in the sanctuary or praying quietly at home, God hears us. He unites His people through prayer, strengthens His church, and deepens our love for each other. So let’s keep lifting one another up. Even if you can’t attend the gathering, you can still be with us in spirit by praying for your church family. As we do, our hearts will grow closer to Christ and to one another.
