“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation” (v. 1).
Psalm 95 invites us into the very heart of worship. It begins with joy. Worship is not cold or mechanical. It is a glad response to who God is.
“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care” (vv. 6–7).
Worship is not only joy. It is also reverence. Singing leads to surrender. True worship bows low and acknowledges that he is our Shepherd and we are his sheep.

“Today, if only you would hear his voice, do not harden your hearts” (v. 7).
The psalm ends with a sober reminder. Worship without obedience is empty. Brothers and sisters, let us sing with joy, bow with humility, and obey with softened hearts. The Rock of our salvation still invites us today. Will you worship him?
