The Thirdmill Institute is a certificate program created by Thirdmill ministries to
provide free, seminary level, biblical and theological training for anyone interested
in either personal growth or ministry. The program is designed to be done in small
groups, where life and ministry skills are emphasized through the guidance of local
trainers.
We are excited to announce that our Thirdmill classes at Goodwill Church are back! That’s right, this fall we will be holding two Thirdmill classes.
Beginning on Thursday, September 21st from 6:30-8 pm, Pastor Tim will be leading a class on Old Testament Foundations, with a focus on the Pentateuch. Our second class, which will begin on Monday, September 25th, also from 6:30-8 pm, will be Biblical Foundations, led by Alex Bean, who will starting seminary this fall at Thirdmill.
The process is simple. Each week consists of a lecture, which you can either read,
listen to, or watch via Thirdmill’s very well produced videos. Next there is a quiz to
take, and lastly, we meet together for a discussion group. The lecture and quiz take
place on-line at thirdmillinstitute.org, while the discussion group takes place at
our Montgomery location. Please note, if you were not able to attend our previous Thirdmill course, no worries! While a definite investment of time, each of Thirdmill's certified courses are created to stand alone and do not need to be taken in sequence.
